The Youth Secretariat of PAME held an event in honor of May 1st and the struggles of the working class. The Youth Secretariat welcomed the veteran unionist, President of the National Federation of Pensioners of Greece and President of TUI Pensioners, Dimos Koubouris, who spoke on the history of class struggles of Greece and the role of the class unions. Also Petros Petrou from WFTU’s Working Youth Committee, who noted the slogan of WFTU for May 1st “Hope lays in the Struggles”.
The event concluded with musical presentation of the history of May Day and called the young trade unionists to strengthen the preparations of May Day and the Strike of May 6
