Thousands of Pensioners from all over Greece held a great demonstration in the center of Athens on Saturday, December 15.
The pensioners demanded the reinstatement of all their rights and of their pensions, which have been cut drastically the previous years. They also protested against the anti-workers social security legislation.
At the same time the pensioners rejected the positions of the SYRIZA-ANEL Government, which does not accept the rightful demands of the pensioners, but it imposes all the anti-workers and anti-peoples legislation. This was the 153rd protest organized by pensioners unions all over Greece in 2018.
The pensioners also condemned the presence of Police Forces that tried to block the demonstration from going near the Prime Minister’s Office
