Federation of Private Employees of Greece-OIYE: Solidarity with CGT Commerce France and Amar Lagha

Published on

The Federation of Private Employees of GreeceOIYE, the largest private sector federation in Greece covering the sectors of commerce, cleaning, security, courier services, IT, office workers, etc., expresses its full solidarity with the CGT Commerce France, member of the WFTU, and its General Secretary Amar Lagha, who is being persecuted by the multinational METRO for his militant trade union activity.
The CGT Commerce and our colleague, did their duty to respond with militant mobilizations to the employer’s terrorism and the persecution of the Federation’s trade unionists by the METRO company.

The attempt of the METRO multinational to terrorize with persecution and false accusations of violence against the General Secretary of the CGT Commerce will fall on deaf ears.

It is unacceptable for the French authorities to call the Secretary General of CGT Commerce to account on 26 March.

We express our solidarity with the trade unionists. In the face of employer terrorism in every country, we can find solutions by strengthening our class struggles.

OIYE  expresses its solidarity with the workers of METRO and CGT Commerce.

We demand that the persecution against the General Secretary of CGT Commerce, Amar Lagha, be stopped here and now.

Hands off the unions!
