With militant demonstrations, protests and other actions in Athens, Thesaloniki and many other Greek cities, the workers in Hotels, Tourism and Catering held successfully a National Day of Action. The Workers demanded Collective Contracts and Protection for the Unemployed.
In Athens the Unions held a demonstration in front of ATHENS LEDRA Hotel, where the workers have been in continuous struggle for 9 months trying to keep the hotel open and protect their jobs.

Later the Unions met with the Minister of Labour where they submitted their demands.
The National Day of Action of workers in Hotels, Tourism was supported with messages of solidarity by the TUI Tourism of WFTU, EUROF of WFTU, Left Bloc Austria, Labor Coalition of Palestine.
