PAME denounces Israel’s new murderous attacks against the Palestinian people and calls workers and trade unions of Athens to a massive protest at the Embassy of Israel on Thursday, 19 July, at 19:30.

Following the brutal inauguration of the US Embassy in Jerusalem, with more than 130 dead and thousands wounded Palestinians, the murderer-state of Israel, unleashed by the international support and tolerance by the US-NATO-EU and national governments, Israel proceeded to new murders in the past days.

These attacks are part of the escalation of the wider competitions and conflicts of the imperialist centers in the region. Under these circumstances, the responsibilities of the SYRIZA-ANEL Government, which advertises its cooperation with the murderer-state of Israel, are enormous. Together they press the trigger against the Palestinian people.

These are the “progressive targets” of the SYRIZA-ANEL government, and the “stability” that Tsipras spoke of, while embracing NATO hawks last week in Brussels. This is its participation and complicity at the US-NATO-Israel slaughterhouse in Middle East and the Mediterranean.

The class union movement of Greece remains firmly on the side of the heroic Palestinian people. We continue and step up our initiatives and action against the imperialist plans that victimize the peoples.
