Thursday, August 14, demonstration at the Port of Piraeus against the arrival of the cruise ship with IDF murderers aboard
A mass demonstration at the Port of Piraeus was held by PAME, the Labour Centre of Piraeus, unions, and mass organizations, during the arrival of the cruise ship Crown Iris, which was carrying IDF murderers for leisure in Greece and rest from the genocide they commit for the murderous state of Israel against the Palestinian people.
Early Thursday morning, despite the heavy police presence, the workers and the people of Piraeus, sent a clear and loud message:
The IDF murderers of the terrorist state of Israel are not welcome in the port and the city of workers of Piraeus. Greece will not be turned into a holiday destination for those who commit war crimes against children and civilians in Gaza.
A large march of solidarity with the Palestinian people followed, moving through the city of Piraeus and toward the Port Authority. It condemned the police-state repression at today’s demonstration and the support the Greek government gives to the murderous state of Israel, as part of its “strategic alliance” and the plans of the EU, USA, and NATO in the Middle East.
History has a just side — with Palestine until Freedom!
