The Trade Union of Workers in Telecommunications and IT of Athens, member of PAME and WFTU, expresses our solidarity to the workers of Turk Telecom. The recent developments with the transfers of stocks to the banks signify dangerous news for the workers.

We the workers in Telecommunications in Greece, have experience from this kind of developments. During the 8 years of the crisis that passed, the buy outs and the mergers the opening up and closing of companies, all the business plans of the capitalists, where built upon the premise of getting themselves out of the crisis and get through to the phase of the capitalist growth. The only thing that this meant for the workers is dismissals, wage cuts and deterioration of working conditions, abolition of workers’ rights.

The bosses and the governments that serve them, attack the rights of the workers to ensure the profitability of the business groups.

Our answer to this attack, is organized action, class oriented internationalist solidarity, collective struggle.

Biz Atina Telekomünikasyon ve Bilgi Teknolojileri Sendikası (SETİP), Türk Telekom işçileriyle olan dayanışmasını ifade ediyoruz. Hisselerin bankalara devredilmesi ile ilgili son gelişmeler, çalışanlar için tehlikeli gelişmelere işaret etmektedir.

Biz Yunanistan’daki Telekomünikasyon ve Bilgi Teknolojileri işçileri, bu tür yöntemleri bire bir yaşadık. Yaşadığımız sekiz yılık kriz süreçinde şirketlerin el değiştirmesi, satılıp alınması, kapanıp açılması kapitalistlerin tüm bu planları bu krizden nasıl daha çok karlı çıkarız olmuştur. Fakat işçiler için felaket işten çıkarmalar, ücrette kesintiler, iş koşullarının kötüleşmesi ve hak ihlallerinin artması anlamına geliyor.

İşverenler ve hükümetleri, sermayenin karlarını gövenceye almak için işçi haklarına saldırmaktadır.

Bu saldırılara karşı cevabımız örgütlü mücadele,  enternasyonalist sınıf dayanışması ve ortak mücadeledir.
