PAME, expresses the solidarity of the class unions of Greece with the people and the workers of Cuba who are confronted with the plans of the USA, the EU and the other imperialist centers.

These forces seek in the near future to present a series of “spontaneous” mobilizations and protests in Cuba, aiming to pave the way for the overthrow of the conquests and achievements of the Cuban Revolution.

At a time when the pandemic and poverty are rampant around the world, Cuba, despite the deadly US embargo, has managed to protect its population by providing free, complete medical care to all its people and is at the forefront of vaccinations worldwide, with at least 90% of the population receiving at least one dose of vaccines that Cuba itself has managed to produce without patents.

The conquests of the Cuban Revolution are proof of the potential of a society without exploitation where science and technology are put at the service of the people and not for the profits of monopolies.
