PAME expresses its Solidarity to the workers, the trade unions, the members and friends of the WFTU in Brazil, for their General Strike on December 5th.
The Brazilian working class is being attacked by the big business groups and the governments that serve them, which are promoting labor-law reforms in the pension and social security systems.
Similarly, in Greece, the SYRIZA government attacks workers, cuts salaries and pensions, imposes brutal taxes to the people, and forwards the ban on the right of workers to go on strike. Against these developments, the class unions of Greece are preparing a General Strike on December 14th.
Against anti-workers’ policies, the workers have only one choice, organization and struggle to defend their rights to claim the wealth they produce. In this struggle the class trade union movement of Greece stands by the side of the Brazilian workers.
