On Tuesday, June 12, Commerce Workers’ Union of Athens and a delegation of PAME held a protest in front of MediaMarkt Store in Athens in solidarity with Real Market-MediaMarkt Workers of Turkey and Nakliyat Is Union.
The Commerce Workers’ Union informed the workers and clients of MediaMarkt about the situation of Real Workers in Turkey and demanded that MediaMarkt accepts their fair demands.
They stated:
The Class unions, commerce-retail workers of Greece, who suffer daily similar antiworkers’ practices from the employers, we stand by the side of the workers of Real Market of Turkey and we demand from MediaMarkt to accept workers’ fair demands.
