In the context of the Day of Action “Cuba is not alone”, declared by the WFTU, PAME carried out today a protest of solidarity with the people of Cuba and submitted the following resolution to the Cuban Embassy:
PAME, expresses its support and Solidarity with the Cuban people and the CTC.
Our class, internationalist Solidarity with the people, with the workers of Cuba was, is and will be a key part of PAME’s action, the struggle of the class-oriented trade unions of Greece against imperialism. In particular, against the imperialist EU and the governments of the EU Member States, which are characterized by their hostility to the struggles of the peoples.
We demand:

No participation to the imperialist interventions and wars out of the borders. No engagement to the slaughters of NATO and the EU.

Close down all the foreign military facilities. Out NATO of the Aegean and the Balkans.

No participation to the military- political alliance of the capitalists.

Struggle against the change of borders.

Struggle against the lessening of trade union and other freedoms.

We say no to the war expenditures for action out of the borders, we assert the expenditures for the satisfaction of the needs of the workers’ and people’s families.

Fight against nationalism, racism, chauvinism.

Solidarity to the refugees, the immigrants, solidarity to all the peoples.
