Solidarity statement by the Bricklayers of North Jylland Trade Union (Murersvendenes brancheklub Nordjylland) to the Greek working class and the Greek Trade Unions on the strike of 28th of February 2025.
“Their profits – our lives”!
Our union and the bricklayers from Denmark, extend our warmest greetings to the millions of Greek workers, who on the 28th of February, will take on the streets to state loud and clear that they will not sacrifice any more lives for the profits of the capitalists.
The 28th of February, which marks the second anniversary of the Greek state crime at the railways at Tempi resulting in 57 dead and hundreds injured, is a day of class struggle and uprising.
We stand side by side with the Greek people and the Greek trade Unions that demand all the responsible for this tragic event to be held accountable and punished, that fight for no cover up, that fight for the application of all the necessary safety measures on the railway, that fight for health and safety measures and collective agreements on all workplaces that meet the workers contemporary needs.
