Ignoring the will of thousands of islanders who demanded closing down the existing “HOT SPOT” and not creating another in the great strike on the 7th of February, the Minister and the government are implementing the shameful EU-Turkey deal.
They are caging thousands of refugees and migrants in our island.
They will find us against them. Organized and determined though our unions and our associations we continue our fight that we gave on 7th of February expressing solidarity with refugees and migrants.
We demand now:
- To not create the new “jail”
- To Close all hot spots on the islands now
- The immediate release of refugees and immigrants from the islands and from the country
- The transfer of asylum services to mainland Greece
