On Thursday 27th of December, the union of workers in the telecoms and IT sector of Athens along with workers of Teleperformance gathered at the headquarters of the company, in order to denounce the 200 layoffs that the company announced. At the same time, Teleperformance is also sacking trade unionists. 

The trade union called for the cancellation of the layoffs and calls for struggle against the intimidation and the persecution of trade unionists.

Ce jeudi 27 décembre, le syndicat des travailleurs dans les Télécoms et l’Informatique de la région d’Athènes avec les salariés de Téléperformance se sont rassemblés devant les locaux de l’entreprise à Athènes pour dénoncer les 200 licenciements que l’entreprise a annoncés. Dans le même temps, Téléperformance licencie des syndicalistes.

Le syndicat a exigé que les licenciements soient annulés et appelle à la lutte contre l’intimidation et les persécutions des syndicalistes.
