The massive demonstrations and the rallies held by PAME on November 9 in dozens of Greek cities, sent a strong message of resistance and counter-attack to the business groups and the Greek coalition Government of SYRIZA and the nationalist, racist party ANEL
The main demands of the rallies were wage increases, a warning to the government not to dare ban the right of workers to strike and also against the legislation that opens the door to banks to confiscate and auction off people’s homes.
The rallies, which were held in many Greek cities, were a step forward in preparing a response with a new General Strike to the plans of the Government and the business groups
