With a meeting of trade union leaders of the industry unions of Athens, with the participation of WFTU’s General Secretary George Mavrikos, PAME honored the 75 Year Anniversary of WFTU, on October 2.
On behalf of the Unions of Greece spoke Giota Tavoulari, President of the National Federation of Workers in Pharmaceutical Industries and Babis Vortelinos, TUI PS Vice President. WFTU presented a short video about the history of the World Federation of Trade Unions and the unions gave the floor to WFTU General Secretary.
On October 3rd, a delegation of WFTU and PAME paid tribute to the international working class and laid wreaths to the WFTU Monument in Kesariani, Athens.
