The class unions of Greece honored the International Workers’ May Day with National General Strike and rallies all over Greece on May 6.

The Strike denounced the plans of the Greek Government to abolish the 8hour workday and trade union rights.

In the Strike Rally in Athens the workers, participated in WFTU Campaign and expressed their solidarity with the working class of Colombia with posters, while a message from Joaquin Romero of FUNTRAENERGETICA and WFTU Vice President was transmitted. The big May Day Rally concluded with the International.
