PAME calls all trade unions, parents’ associations and teachers’ unions and the workers to strengthen their struggle for the problems that Greek and immigrant workers face, the children and families of the uprooted refugees from the imperialist wars for the control of the energy roads and the sharing of the markets.

To forge the class, internationalist solidarity and the unity of the working class regardless of race- colour- religion against the monopoly groups, the imperialist organizations and their governments that spread war, death, poverty and misery.

To isolate the murderers of the NAZI, fascist organizations like Golden Dawn and all the fascists that spread their racist poison to the workers and the people trying to turn them against the refugees and their children who managed to be rescued from the bombs of the imperialist wars. They are ruthless, minions of the bosses, they try to disorient from the common causes of the problems and the common enemy of the Greek and foreign workers, to hide the crimes of the imperialists.

Great are the responsibilities of the government of SYRIZA and the other bourgeois parties for the growing participation of our country to the imperialist plans, the competitions for the profits of the monopoly groups, for the reinforcement of the presence of NATO in the Aegean Sea. Furthermore, for the agreement, the signing and implementation of the decisions of the EU that trap refugees in Greece.

The government, long time ago and under responsibility of the state, should have taken all the necessary measures for the inclusion of the refugee children in education, as well as to ensure humane conditions of stay for the refugees and migrants.

Instead of that, they handled them over to the NGOs, doing business and playing their own game on the backs of these victims of imperialism, as these are also a product of the rotten and barbaric system.

The government with its policy fuels the Nazism-racism of Golden Dawn and other reactionaries-fascists, it makes room and tolerates their actions that poison and disorient the workers’- people’s consciousness.

It’s not the victimized and shattered from the imperialist war, the refugees and their children, who are responsible for the wretched situation of schools and hospitals. The education and healthcare of the working and popular families is disintegrated by the policy of the government and the EU that cuts rights and benefits, to save and offer new advantages to the big capital.

WE DEMAND:

• The overthrow of the decisions of the EU and the government that trap refugees in Greece.

• To make easier the safe transportation of all refugees that are in Greece towards the countries of their true destination.

• To form open structures of humane, dignifying and safe conditions of temporary hosting that will operate under the responsibility of the Ministry of Migration Policy. To transport all refugees to sheds, with an immediate priority to the pregnant women, families with children and people with special needs.

• Especially now, during the winter, to ensure heating for everyone, especially bedcovers and clothing that will protect them from the low temperatures and bad weather.

• To ensure the inclusion of all refugee children of all ages, regardless of space they are hosted in (camps or hotels/apartments) to education and creative activities, on responsibility of the state. To take, for this cause, all the necessary measures (vaccinations, transportation, hiring teachers and other assistant personnel etc.)

• That NATO leaves from the Aegean Sea. To close all NATO bases.

• To stop the participation of our country in the imperialist interventions and wars.
