The National Coordinating Committee of PAME met on 5-6 September, in Thessaloniki. In the meeting took part Presidents of Regional Trade Unions, Federations, Trade Unions, leaders of branches of both private and public sector. The rich discussion that developed, strengthened the proposal of the Executive Secretariat for a two-month militant campaign, which will conclude with National Rally, on November 1^st , in Athens and demonstrations in all cities of the country on October 4^th , in order to prepare the escalation of the struggle at workplaces and sectors with new struggles, rallies, strikes.

We call all trade unions in the country, each Federation, each Regional Trade Union, each Trade Union, the organisations of the pensioners, the youth, the women, the self-employed, the small farmers, the unemployed committees, to unite under the slogan “we will not live with bread crumbs “and to demand here and now:

• Unemployment benefit of 600€ for all unemployed people without terms and conditions for the full period of unemployment.

• No employee to work with wages below 751 euros. No worker to work uninsured, without collective agreements. To return the sectoral wages at levels before 2009.

• The state and the big capital to cover all the immediate needs of the insurance funds. Full state guarantee of all pensions and benefits. Minimum pension of 600€.

• Cancelation of all anti-labor laws and legislation against social security that affect wages, labor relations, social security and pensions.

• Stop the taxation of the peoples’ income. Cancelation of Housing taxation and all taxes that affect wages and pensions.

All trade unions to contribute with their activity and involvement in the organization of the mobilization of the workers and the unemployed. To go directly to Board meetings, to move to general meetings, in discussions in workplaces, neighborhoods. To enrich the proposed central planning and to address boldly and dynamic to the unorganized workers and the unemployed. There must be no trade union or workplace that does not decide collectively on the organization and participation in the action plan.

Let’s give a decisive answer to those who destroy our lives. Make them feel our breath, feel our pressure. Employers’ organizations, ministries, tax offices, banks, the states’ Organisation for the Unemployed offices and the Social Security branches must be burdened by our daily actions. Do not leave them to catch a breath!

We will not accept to live with the nightmare of unemployment!

We will not accept to live as todays’ slaves!

We’re not aiming only to slow the attack!
