Demonstration of PAME trade unions of the ship-repair zone of Piraeus.
Large number of workers participated in the demonstration of condemnation of the Golden Dawn and the murderous attack on September 12, against the cadres of PAME and the members KKE and KNE, in the ship-repair zone of Piraeus.
A delegation of the World Federation of Trade Unions consisting from George Mavrikos, the General Secretary and delegations of trade union organizations from Denmark, England and South Africa also participated in the demonstration.
The president of the Metalworkers’ Trade Union of Piraeus spoke in the demonstration, who said:
“… The Golden Dawn is the long arm of the capital, shipowners. They want workers without collective contracts, without social security protection. They want to turn workers into slaves of the 21st century. To increase the labor exploitation. We are on the opposite side, setting the target of the reconstruction of the movement, in a class orientation. We develop struggles per sector that target to abolish the exploitation…”

Demonstration of PAME trade unions took place in Keratsini (a working class district in Piraeus), in Thessaloniki, in Lesvos island and in several cities in North Greece. Thousands of people of all ages participated in the demonstrations condemning the murder of the 34 year old Paul Fyssas, by a member of the Golden Dawn.
