Nakliyat-İş organized massive celebrations for May Day 2019 in Turkey. Thousands of workers started their march to the historical May Day area Taksim. After a while, riot police blocked the way to Taksim and we organized a sit-in protest on the way to the May Day area. Here we made several press releases and announcements including the May Day Statement of WFTU and solidarity message of PAME. Then, a group of our members march to Taksim along with the slogans. Having arrived at Taksim Square, we made another press release and commemorate the May Day martyrs killed in 1977. In conclusion, we honored May Day 2019 with a great enthusiasm.
