The unions of workers in Local Administrations, affiliated with PAME, held protest at the Ministry of Public Administration against the layoffs of thousands of workers with limited time contracts.
The protest turned to an occupation of the Ministry when the Minister was refusing to meet with the workers.
The Unions escalated their struggle with massive participation in the General Strike on May 17 and organize big demonstration on May 18 and participation to the rallies of PAME
