Dear comrades in Hotel & Tourism Industry in Greece

The Inter Company Employees Union and its Hotels Center in Sri Lanka expresses our militant solidarity with its 50000 membership to the National Strike Action of PAME and the workers in Hotel-Tourism industry in Greece. Dear Comrades, We know that the workers in Greece are in a big fight to protect their rights and good life standards. We know that the prevailing bourgeois government has chosen the path of suppression with the support of extremists and racists. But the absolute truth is the bourgeois cannot stop the workers by their bullets. The employees in the hotel and tourism industry are mostly exploited in many ways by the capitalists. Outsourcing, split shifts, lower wages, fixed term employment contracts, seasonal works etc are common strategies used by the capitalists to exploit the workers in the hotel sector. As the workers and trade unions in Sri Lanka, we vehemently condemn the neoliberal socioeconomic policies followed by the Greek government.
