No compromise with poverty, misery!

PAME calls to prepare a militant answer and counterattack!

We inform the trade unions, workers, unemployed, the youth and women for the new attack plans of the Greek government, under the demands of the employers. We call upon everyone to be alert and militantly prepared for decisive resistance and struggle.

After the imposition of the law-guillotine for social security, the surrendering of people’s homes to the vultures-banks, the new tax-exceptions for industrialists, ship-owners, big employers, the big capital prepares for new brutal attack against wages, collective contracts, labor relations, the right to strike, trade union freedoms.

They prepare new attacks, if we do not resist and fight!

Their anti-workers agenda includes a long list of new measures!

They demand:

• The abolition of the 13^th and 14^th wage (Easter, Christmas and holiday benefit).

• New cut of the minimum wage from 1/1/2017 (below the today limit, which is already cut 25% and even more for the young workers under the age of 25).

• Minimum wage to be set every year by the Government, without collective agreement by the unions.

• Abolition of all benefits and removal of the aftereffect of the collective agreements in general.

• The same salary for the entire working life. Under this system the worker will receive the same wage when entering the work till when exiting from it!

• Reduction of the overtime cost, the weekend employment cost and the flexibility of the working time (working time variation)..

• Full liberalization of mass layoffs.

• Generalized flexibility in the labor relations, extending all the “new” forms of cheap and unprotected working relations.

They target to hit the trade union activity, the right to strike!

They want to demolish our right to defend ourselves through struggles, mobilizations, resistance. They attack trade unions, which still are the strength of the labor – trade union struggles despite the problems that they face.

The desires and demands of the industrialists become laws!

They brutally demand new massacre!

The memoranda and all the measures that impoverish the working people are demands of the business groups, they are the tools that become laws to protect and multiply their profits.

The industrialists demand for “modern labor relations” means greater flexibility, generalization of the contracts of one month – one day, of the underpaid employment programs, of the work with expiration date.

We must defend our life! They are not invincible!

We do not have the same interests, the same anxieties with our exploiters!

Our needs are not the same with the big employers’ goals for competitiveness, profitability, their profits’ recovery. We have not lost all of us by the measures for wages, social security. The same time when the working family bleeds by the new tax-invasion, the capital enjoys profits, new tax-exemptions and provision of new money and free labor force!

They legislate jungle and they name it “paradise”!

Immediate resistance and struggle in sectors and industries where the employers’ intimidations intensify with wage cuts, dismissals. The struggles against dismissals that are multiplied, for the accrued payment, since thousands of workers are still unpaid for months, must be strengthened.

We must demand the life we deserve!
