With massive strike rallies and demonstrations, the workers of Greece participated in the General National Strike of April 6. Strike rallies were organized in more than 60 cities demanding No involvement-No participation of Greece in the imperialist war! Stop inflation and taxation, defend working-class income with collective agreements and with substantial increases in salaries.
The strike stopped Planes, ships, Metro transport, factories and services. Massive demonstration took place in Athens in front of the Parliament with thousands of workers, youth, pensioners.
In the port of Piraeus, from where the seafarers of Greece sent message of solidarity to the seafarers of P&O Ferries in Britain (photos https://flic.kr/s/aHBqjzJFcE ). Massive demonstrations took place also in Patras, Giannena and cities all over Greece.
