Great Demonstration of Tourism Workers in Athens

Hotel-Tourism-Food Workers’ Unions from Crete, Corfu, Rhodes and many more cities across Greece met with the Tourism workers of Athens in a grand demonstration on June 10 demanding protection of their jobs and income.

The demonstration started in front of the Ministry of Labor and reached the Parliament, where the Unions submitted their demands. The class unions highlighted the slogans

“We are the Hotels” “Guarantee Workers’ Income”

The demonstration ended with call for participation in the Unions’ demonstrations on June 11 all over Greece
