Support financially PAME – Strengthen Your Power

 PAME addresses to the working class of our country and its unions a rallying and militant call!

The experience of the last period proves even more how needed are massive, fighting, militant unions for the working class to be in the front line against business groups and their political representatives. The experience of the last period shows how necessary the strengthening of PAME and the reconstruction of the union movement is. The governments, the industrialists, the bankers, the ship owners, the EU, the IMF continue and intensify the attack against the Greek people. They want to impose new burdens, new taxes, new measures. The sacrifices that they ask have no end. Everything for the profitability of the business groups. They want us broken, unemployed, in poverty and misery, to work for a pittance. The ship owners to live in opulence and young workers to work as interns with no life!

The working class in order to respond must strengthen its own weapons; its unions and its movement. Strengthening PAME financially, too, will strengthen the class struggle, it will give new impetus to class militant unions. The financial support of PAME and its financial independence will provide with new possibilities of action for the class forces. They will strengthen the front against trade unionism which is controlled by the employers and government, against the ideology of class collaboration, of compromise and of subjugation.

Supporter of PAME and of its diverse activity is only the working class! Interventions, rallies, demonstrations, strikes, sports-cultural activities, solidarity actions, publishing and internationalist activity of PAME are based on the contribution of trade unions, federations, labour centres, struggle committees in workplaces, in regions and working class neighborhoods.

The diverse and daily Solidarity to the Refugees is a particular task of the class movement which needs to be strengthened. Solidarity, different than that of the package of several millions that the Government gives to NGOs, the same time that is making the NATO the policeman of the Aegean Sea and the imperialist intervention in the region is escalating. Solidarity which is a response to the hate cries of the fascists of the “Golden Dawn”.

PAME calls the unions to immediately take all the necessary measures for the success of the Fundraising Campaign of PAME. Coupons for the financial aid to PAME will be in each Union, Labour Centre and Federation. The Trade Unions should address widely to the working class, to the people with whom during all this time we have given together long and difficult battles. To the workers who, even with their differences, recognize the role of PAME and understand the need to strengthen it for the struggles to come.
