An event for the International Day of Immigrants was organized on, December 18 Saturday afternoon in Nea Manolada by PAME and the Committee of Migrant Land Workers of Manolada
The event was a continuation of the action of PAME, the Federations and the Regional Unions of Patras and Amaliada so that the migrant workers can get humane living conditions, a decent living, to be able to live, to be given the necessary papers for their legal stay in the country.
It was also decided by the Committee of Migrants to hold a protest in the next period at the Ministry of Interior, while the intention for other, new mobilizations was declared decisively if their just demands are not met.
The event was greeted by the unions and there was also cultural program with music from the homelands of migrant workers.
Also material aid was delivered to the migrant workers
