The European Regional Office of WFTU express its solidarity with action day organized by the workers in supermarkets on the 15th of April in Greece. The workers in the supermarkets and shopping malls are in the front line and from the very first day are exposed to the conditions created by the pandemic without any protection health measures and the safety of their families. Already  in many European countries the workers in these kind of shops have lost with their lives. The companies put the profits above the health and the safety of the workers and ignore any measures proposed by the scientists. We stand on the side of the Greek workers and we fully support their struggle and their demands
