The CGT Monoprix coordination will organize this Saturday, July 4, its 5th Saturday of anger at the Monoprix in St Mandé. It is a question of denouncing the unbearable inequality of distribution within the company Monoprix, sign of the Casino group.
During the last three-year cycle, the exorbitant sum of 498 million euros was paid to shareholders, even though the company received no less than 68 million euros from CICE! During the last three months of the pandemic, if many sectors have suffered badly from the recession linked to containment, mass distribution has had its share! And it is very rich and very fat! If the management has not given us the overall figures, we know for example that in the Boulogne store alone, the turnover is ahead by 200,000 euros! Imagine the whole territory!
To arrive at these figures, the management mobilized all its personnel who were overexposed to Covid 19, leading to several serious cases of pneumonia among the personnel! These “first chores” are very badly rewarded since the management of Monoprix refuses to attribute the bonus of 1000 euros to certain employees such as contractuals. Let us also recall that the management sent the Compulsory Annual Negotiations in three meetings, where we are negotiating wage increases. From this outrageous masquerade emerged an increase of 0.8% in wages, or 5 euros per month increase for the vast majority of Monoprix staff! A shame with regard to shareholder compensation!
The profit-sharing bonus which represented a month’s gross salary a few years ago has melted like snow in the sun. Here again, after the record profits linked to the vertiginous increase in food expenses, the incentive bonus only represents 30% of gross salary! In addition, Monoprix hardly hires anymore.
The CGT Monoprix Coordination requires: the allocation of the bonus of 1000 euros to all staff, the establishment of real NAO with real salary increases, the return to an incentive bonus equivalent to one month’s gross salary, aAmbitious hiring policy.
The CGT 94 Departmental Union calls for supporting the demonstration saturday July 4 in the Monoprix store in St Mandé (val de marne) to strengthen the mobilization of Monoprix employees in their legitimate struggle
