With many activities in the hospitals all over Greece, healthcare workers honored the International Nurse’s Day, demanding: Mass recruitment of permanent staff. Extending the allowance of Hazardous occupation. Integration into Hazardous Occupations of all health workers working in similar conditions. Preventive laboratory testing of all patients admitted to public hospitals and regular periodic examination of all healthcare workers. Measures to protect motherhood and the children. Modification of hospital organizations to meet modern needs. Restoration of wages to the levels of 2009, restoration of holiday and leave allowances.

The Unions of Healthcare workers, doctors, nurses, hospital staff, highlighted the need for new initiatives of coordination and escalation of the struggle in national and international level against the policies that privatize Healthcare and endanger the lives of the peoples.
