On January 25-27 took place in Athens the 25th Congress of the National Federation of Construction Workers of Greece, member of PAME.
The Congress took place under the slogan “We put our own needs in the frontline- Not the profits of the few – We strengthen our struggle against the big business and the forces that support it – We are fighting for a world without exploitation, poverty and wars”, with 200 delegates elected by dozens of Construction Workers Unions from all over Greece.
In the opening of the Congress were delegations of the WFTU, the Executive Secretariat of PAME, UITBB of WFTU, the General Union of Palestine Workers, the Mayor of Chaidari Municipality, and delegations from organizations of farmers, Students, Women, Self-employed.
The Congress discussed on the Report and the Plan of Action proposed and voted for the election of new leadership.
