Trade Union Initiatives For Solidarity With the Refugees

On Saturday, March 5 a big trade union meeting was held in Athens for the organization of Solidarity with the Refugees and Opposition to NATO’s presence in the Aegean Sea.

The massive meeting, organized by PAME’s branch and industrial unions of Athens, highlighted the need for organization of solidarity to the refugees and taking up new initiatives Against NATO-EU’s interventions.

The massive meeting was also addressed by the representative of the Turkish trade union Naklyat-Is, WFTU affiliate, comrade Tacettin Çolak.

The meeting was followed by a massive demonstration to the offices of EU in Athens
