Thousands of Pensioners demonstrated on December 15 protesting against the continuous cuts of the SYRIZA Government in Pensions and Social Security benefits. At the same time the Pensioners Federation denounced the attempt of the Prime Minister to fool the pensioners, by lying about the restoration of the cut pensions.
The demonstration of the Pensioners was “welcomed” be heavy police forces outside the Prime Minister’s Mansion. After strong protest by the Pensioners, the police was forced to withdraw and allow the demonstration to reach outside the Prime Ministers’ Mansion.
The Pensioners demanded the restoration of all their losses in Pension and benefits and Free, Public Healthcare and Social Security for all.
