The Privatization Of Healthcare Seen Today (VIDEO)

During the years of the crisis in Greece, some of the arguments of the Governments in order to privatize and cut funds to the Public Healthcare system were that Public Sector “is lazy”, “it costs more” and “goes all day on strikes”, that “public healthcare is a communist relic”.

In 2013, took place a TV interview with the participation of the Minister of Healthcare and the President of the Union of Workers in the Hospital EVANGELISMOS of Athens, member of PAME, doctor Elias Sioras.

This 1 minute interview, subtitled in English, is very helpful today, when the same Governments faced with the Coronavirus, hypocritically talk and praise the Public Healthcare system and our doctors.
