PAME delegation that visits Palestine met with the Tamimi family, whose daughter and mother are imprisoned in Israel. The delegation also visited the village of Nabi Saleh where held meetings with the residents and relatives of the arrested. They also visited the 13-year-old Mohammed, cousin of Ahmed Tami, who received a bullet in the head on the day of the arrest and they also met the 15-year-old Tzena Tamimi, who was also arrested along with Ahmed.
The residents of the village expressed how much the situation has worsened by the Trab’s statements and that Israeli aggression has escalated.
PAME expressed its support and solidarity of the class-oriented trade union movement of Greece and the WFTU, informed about the several solidarity activities that have taken place in Greece and around the world by workers, students and youth and stated that it will continue and strengthen the struggle for the release of the arrested.
The steady position of the class-oriented trade union movement of Greece for an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem capital was expressed.
