PAME expresses its solidarity with the strike of the workers at the University of Minnesota and the workers’ unions AFSCME3800, Teamsters Local 320 and AFSCME3937 who are demanding wage increases.

The workers at the University of Minnesota are demanding above-inflation wage increases and protection of their insurance rights. The unions denounce that with inflation at 10%, the 4% “raises” proposed by the University administration represent an actual 6% pay cut! The workers on Monday, October 10, held a militant mobilization inside the University with the support of students and faculty.

PAME supports the just demands of the workers at the University of Minnesota and stands with them in their militant mobilizations.
