On Wednesday 24 August thousands of South African workers took to the streets en masse demanding wage increases and protection measures for the workers against the wave of price increases in energy and basic necessities.

All over the world millions of workers are facing poverty, cold and hunger, while at the same time big business groups are getting richer and making huge profits.

No sacrifice for the profits of the monopolies!
