On Saturday June 27, the Trade Union of Workers in Pharmaceutical Industries of Athens and the National Federation of Workers in Pharmaceuticals held a strike at pharmaceuticals that operated on Saturday violating the 5 days’ work week (Monday-Friday) for pharmaceutical logistics. The union responded with protests outside of the big pharmaceutical logistics companies.

The union’s militant action met Police oppression forces outside the doors of PROFARM industry even after the court rejected the owners’ appeal against the strike. The workers along with their trade union held their strike and condemned the intimidation tactics of the employers and the government.
