Since the early morning of Thursday, November 02, 2017, workers from dozens of Unions from the Private and the public sector that rally with PAME, are mobilizing and realize a symbolic occupation at the Ministry of Labor of Greece.

The Federations and Trade Unions will also hold a Press Conference to inform about the antiworkers’ plans of the SYRIZA Government, using the Office of the Minister of Labor, as the Unions had stated in a previous mobilization, when the Minister refused to meet with the workers’ representatives.

The SYRIZA Government is planning to ban the right of workers to strike and wants to impose new cuts in workers’ income and pensions. At the same time it gives the banks the right to confiscate workers’ homes if they are in debt.

This symbolic action is a step of preparation for the demonstrations that PAME has called in all cities of Greece for November 9.
