On Tuesday, April 1, with mass militant march, PAME responded to the government, the EU and the capital, while the ECOFIN meeting took place in Athens.

 Despite the efforts of the government, which used the repressive forces to intimidate workers, PAME held its demonstrations.

 Since morning, the whole center of Athens was blocked by powerful repressive forces and all the roads were blocked by police vehicles. Τhe plans of police who attempted to hit and break the mobilization did not proceed. The disciplined and dispassionate attitude forces of PAME played a key role.

 PAME called on unions to organize the general strike on April 9, against the difficulties, the employer terrorism, but also the obstacles that are being put by the subversive attitude of governmental and employers’ trade unionism.
