The class unions gave a first militant response to the Greek Government’s plans for imposition of the butcher bill that destroys social security and imposes new taxes to the people.

The tactics of the flash protest at the Prime Minister’s Mansions, on Thursday afternoon, only hours after the Government’s announcement.

On Friday, May 6, first day of the General Strike, PAME held massive and militant demonstrations all over Greece. The messages of International Solidarity were read during the demonstrations.

New strike demonstrations are planned for Saturday afternoon, May 7 and Sunday, May 8.
