We got your solidarity 13 days ago. I am very sorry for responding delay.

Your solidarity gave us huge reparations. In this time Swan workers got one months salary. Some workers got their salary of one month yesterday (10th August), they has some complication like don’t have name in the salary shit, wrong name spelling in the card etc. Most of the worker (1089 workers) got there one month salary in 6th of the August. The payment had made by the government of Bangladesh, they collected this money from the bank which was the bank of Swan Group and the Labor Department paid the money. This is very first time in our garment industry, government is taking the responsibility of payment to the workers. We made it possible by the strong influence of the movement. Your solidarity made strengthen the movement. Thanks to PAME (All Workers Militant Front) & OEKIDE.

After this payment we withdrew our 20 days long continues sit-in protest, but didn’t give up the movement. The movement is going on demanding the remaining arrears, re open factory and withdrawn the false charges against workers.
