A large river of anger and determination to continue their struggle, flooded the centre of Athens on Friday, at the nationwide rally of pensioners.

Thousands of pensioners from all over the country, many traveling hours to reach the rally, gave a militant “present” to the call of their unions, demonstrated with their heads held high, demanding the satisfaction of their just demands.

With the banners and flags of their unions, they made it clear once again to the government – which disrespected them by refusing to meet with their delegation – that they will not give up, that they will not compromise with the unjust cuts that are being perpetuated in their pensions, with the unacceptable situation in public health care structures, the inflation, but also the dangers of the wars in which the government is involving our country.
