Trade unions and affiliated pensioneers’ organizations held a massive and militant Nationwide rally in Athens on Thursday, the 19th of  June the rally was about the Social Security and Pensions System. Thousands of workers and pensioneers, from all over the country, took part in it.
PAME, PASEVE and OGE called the workers to participate in the rally. Dynamic was the presence of students bearing the flags of MAS.
The slogans that dominated, among others, were: “There is no dime for pensioners- there is only money for the plutocracy,” “No to hikes and cuts – pension increases, sectoral collective agreements ‘,’ Hands off the Social Security and Pensions System”‘.  Quim Boix, General Secretary of the International of Pensioneers’ Unions affiliated with the WFTU.
After the concentration, held in Propylaea, Athensm there was a march to the Parliament, where the resolution, including the demands, of the demonstrators was served.
