The trade unions salute the massive participation of the workers of Forthnet in the 2 days of the strike. Especially we salute the participation of colleagues who went on strike for the first time, supporting the unanimus decision of our General Assembly. The workers’ participation in the strike shows their will to fight for our right to jobs, their solidarity with the laid off workers. It also shows the strengthening and the dynamic of the organised struggle against the mechanisms and the bullies of the employers, who were once more present.

They cannot frighten us! Our strength is unity and organised struggle. Our strength is the support and solidarity of the class trade union movement, of PAME and the trade unions from other countries, who sent us messages that gave us strength and courage.

We do not Stop! We continue and escalate the fight for cancelation of the lay offs, trade union freedoms, collective contract for all the workers of Forthnet, and outsourcing.
