The Union of COSCO Dockworkers, ENEDEP, welcomed in Greece on July 5-6 unionists from USB Italy and the ports of Livorno and Genoa.
ENEDEP thanked the Italian port workers for their solidarity in the great struggle at the COSCO dockers. The Unions discussed the experience of their recent struggles in both countries for wage increases and against the imperialist war. The meeting also stressed the need to strengthen solidarity and relations between the dockers’ unions.
The Unionists from Italy also had a meeting with the Maritime Unions of Greece PEMEN and PEEMAGEN and were informed about the initiatives and actions of maritime workers.
