Demonstrations of PAME on the anniversary of the ’73 Polytechnic School Uprising

With a massive anti-imperialist demonstration outside of the USA Embassy of Athens concluded the 3day events for the anniversary of 1973 uprising of the people against the Military Junta.

The trade unions that rally with PAME on Saturday laid wreaths at the Building of the Polytechnic School which was the Centre of the people’s uprising. On Monday, November 17th, PAME and the forces of the Popular Alliance, students, self employed, women, organised demonstrations in many cities, with central demonstration in Athens, outside the Embassy of the USA.

At the same time, the forces of PAME highlighted the need for massive participation in the General strike of November 27th
