PAME expresses its solidarity with the workers of the Lisbon Metro (Metropolitano de Lisboa) of Portugal, who are fighting for a Collective Agreement, salary increases and quality public transport.

Public Transport workers, especially during the pandemic, were at the forefront, with many colleagues falling victims to the pandemic. The need to strengthen the struggle against privatizations, for  Transports, Public, cheap and high quality to serve the people and workers has been proven again during this period in Greece and in Europe.

We support the struggle of the Lisbon Metro workers and their just demands.
