PAME, WFTU affiliate, expresses its deepest sympathy to the workers and people of Haiti for the victims of the catastrophic earthquake.

Once again, the people of the historic island of Haiti are experiencing a huge tragedy that could have been prevented. For years the people of Haiti have been experiencing one suffering after another, with thousands of victims, proving that the “aid” provided by the imperialist forces for so many years is not about building infrastructure and protecting the Haitian people, but the interests of the imperialists and business groups that exploit the long-suffering island.

The class unions of Greece express our condolences to the people and workers of Haiti for the victims of the catastrophic earthquake and stand by them.
